Tour-de-Yorkshire Parade

A group of children from Year 5 took part in the Enjoy the Ride Carnival and Parade as part of the Tour de Yorkshire on Sunday 1st May. The children have been making costumes and learning a dance routine for the celebrations. Well done to all involved and thank you to Miss Longley and Miss Farley and our parent helpers.

Headteacher's Welcome


On behalf of everybody in our school community, can I welcome you to Ayresome Primary School and Community Enterprise Centre. I hope that you will find the pages on our website useful in discovering more about our school.

Sporting Achievements

Basketball Finals

The Y5 and 6 basketball team took part in a basketball competition against 14 other schools from across Middlesbrough.

The team placed 3rd overall, securing them a place in the Tees Valley finals!

School Sports

Semi finalists in Netball!

A huge well done to the Netball team who achieved semi-final glory in the netball championships across Middlesbrough last night. We lost admirably to Rosewood who won the Plate Knockout, but what an achievement for our relatively newly trained team. Thanks to our Sports Coach, Liam Corcoran and Mrs Hutton our PE leader !!!!


Athletics Competition and Rugby Tournament

The Y5 and 6s participated in the Middlesbrough Indoor athletics competition at Eston Sports Centre where they competed against other schools and came 11th overall.
Children from Y3/4 and Y5/6 competed in a tag rugby tournament against other Middlesbrough Schools at Middlesbrough College. The Y3/4 team won the fair play award. Y5/6 got through to the plate competition.
